The main hydraulic tank changes at item 275
The cleanest main-tank lookup starts with Figure 29-10-05-30, item 275.
| Effectivity | Part number | IPC wording | Quantity |
|---|---|---|---|
| 8266-8374 | 25-7HC17-47 | Tank | 1 |
| 8375-8999 | 25-1H15273-1A | Tank, trimmed, altered from 25-7HC17-47, Mod 25F655A | 1 |
The rows meet at the 8374/8375 boundary and use the same figure and item. That supports an effectivity change. The altered-from wording helps explain the later tank configuration, but it is not a complete installation instruction or a two-way interchange approval.
When the aircraft falls near this boundary, verify the aircraft serial and Mod 25F655A status before asking a supplier to cross the number.
The emergency tank has two part-number layers
Figure 29-20-05-10 contains a complete emergency tank assembly at item 10 and a tank component at item 85. The numbers at those two items should not be mixed.
| Catalog layer | Effectivity 8266-8374 | Effectivity 8375-8999 |
|---|---|---|
| Item 10 emergency tank assembly | 25HC161AD | 25-1H15275-3A |
| Item 85 tank component | 25HC159AB | 251H15275-1A |
The later item-85 row says 251H15275-1A is a trimmed tank altered from 25HC159AB. The later item-10 row simply identifies 25-1H15275-3A as the emergency tank assembly.
The dash placement matters. 25-1H15275-3A and 251H15275-1A differ by more than one character. They belong to different items and describe different layers of the installation.
Why 25HC161AD appears with two effectivity statements
25HC161AD has two reviewed rows:
- Figure 29-20-05-10 item 10 identifies the emergency tank assembly for 8266-8374
- Figure 29-20-05-05 item 75 is a for-details-see reference that carries 8266-8999
The second row is a reference into the detailed tank figure. It does not cancel the item-10 change to 25-1H15275-3A at effectivity 8375. This is why the figure purpose has to stay with the part number.
Main reservoir components around the tank
Several other records appear in the hydraulic tank area:
- 18293201-1 is the pressure gauge at item 90 and begins at effectivity 8277
- 25HC31A is the filter at item 185 and also appears in the emergency tank figure
- HTE4853 is the quantity-1 non-return valve at item 200
- AIR87236 is the outward-relief valve at item 240 and points to AIR87236-0 for spares
- 150T283 is the temperature switch in the related hydraulic equipment figure
These parts can all appear in a reservoir search. None should be substituted for another based on the word tank or pressure in a supplier description.
HTE4350 versus HTE4853
Fleet descriptions call both numbers tank-pressure non-return valves, but the IPC rows are different.
HTE4350 is quantity 2 at Figure 29-10-05-40 item 90 and has four individual serial exclusions. HTE4853 is quantity 1 at Figure 29-10-05-30 item 200 with effectivity 8266-8999.
HTE4350 also appears in fuel-system searches. A quote that says only HTE4350 valve can lose the intended system context. Send the hydraulic figure, item, and function with the part number.
Emergency tank support parts
The emergency tank group also includes AIR87366-0 as the suction-filter assembly, AIR45448-1 as the later emergency hand pump, MFHA15104-1 as one side of the emergency filter alternate pair, and 3515000-76 as the low-level float switch.
The complete tank number does not identify those installed components. Ask for the exact unit needed and keep its figure and item with the request.
What to verify before ordering a tank
Check the aircraft serial, embodied modification status, exact data-plate number, catalog figure and item, fittings and installed equipment, tank condition, traceability, and release paperwork. If a supplier offers a later or earlier number, require the current approved technical basis for the cross-reference.
This guide supports catalog identification. It does not authorize removal, installation, servicing, pressure testing, or return to service.
Direct lookup answers
Common questions.
What is the Hawker hydraulic tank part number before effectivity 8375?
The main tank at Figure 29-10-05-30 item 275 is 25-7HC17-47 through effectivity 8374. The emergency item-10 assembly is 25HC161AD through the same boundary.
What main hydraulic tank part number starts at effectivity 8375?
25-1H15273-1A starts at effectivity 8375 at Figure 29-10-05-30 item 275. The row says it is altered from 25-7HC17-47 under Mod 25F655A.
What emergency hydraulic tank assembly starts at effectivity 8375?
25-1H15275-3A starts at effectivity 8375 at Figure 29-20-05-10 item 10. The earlier item-10 assembly is 25HC161AD.
Why are 25HC159AB and 251H15275-1A not the complete emergency tank assembly?
They occupy item 85 and are described as tank and trimmed tank records. The complete emergency tank assembly occupies item 10 under different part numbers.
Which parts around the reservoir can be confused during a lookup?
18293201-1 is the pressure gauge, 25HC31A is the tank filter, AIR87236 is the outward-relief valve, and HTE4350 with HTE4853 are separate tank-pressure non-return valve records.
