LOG / 03

This desk records meaningful catalog changes, source revisions, and research guides. An old fact does not become news because it has a new publication date.

Update desk Three lanes

What belongs in this log.

Every dated entry must identify what changed, which aircraft or records are affected, what source supports the change, and what the evidence does not establish.

01

Catalog changes

New verified records, corrected applications, merged duplicates, and revised cross-references.

02

Publication notes

Document revisions and source changes that affect existing model, system, or part records.

03

Parts desk guides

Detailed answers that need more room than a single part record or directory page.

20 Aug 2026Research queue

Hawker 800XP and 850XP source rows are the first catalog pass.

Imported rows remain internal research records until the number, preferred name, aircraft application, and source reference have been checked. No raw row is published just to create another URL.

20 Aug 2026Publishing rule

One canonical record will carry each normalized part number.

When the same verified part applies to more than one Hawker model, model directories will point to one part record. This keeps corrections, sources, and supersession notes in one place.

20 Aug 2026Source control

Technical references stay separate from commercial source links.

A technical citation supports identity, application, or effectivity. A supplier or marketplace link only provides a place to continue the search. It does not prove fit, condition, certification, or current stock.

Guide queue

Questions earn a page when the answer needs one.

A separate guide must solve a distinct job, use specific evidence, and add more than a short answer already available on a part or model page.
