Why left or right alone is not enough

There is an inner and outer assignment on each side:

• left-hand inner uses AC65216
• left-hand outer uses AC65218
• right-hand inner uses AC65218
• right-hand outer uses AC65216

A request that only says “left Maxaret” is incomplete. It leaves two possible catalog positions. Keep inner or outer with the side, then add the exact removed-unit part and serial numbers.

The IPC marks both Maxaret numbers as unit exchange items. That describes the catalog’s spares treatment. It does not make AC65216 and AC65218 substitutes for one another.

On an exchange quote, check the exact part number, serial number, modification state, offered condition, traceability, release paperwork, core eligibility, and return terms. Similar supplier titles are not enough to change the position assignment.
